Just wait until after the ride on Saturday – Levi and friends host quite the post-ride feast! See you there. BYO fry sauce…

Similar in many ways to the ‘flapper’.

Yum! Is that at Zazu? Great foodie spots there if you don’t mind the bucks.

Watch out eldin, you may end a real journalist if your not careful, then you won’t be able to foto shop other bike racers either any more.

I believe in many places, “Fry Sauce” is a combination of mayo and ketchup. ( Wiki sast 2:1 Mayo to Catsup)

Unless fatty has a secret recipe, then he should make a blog post on the “Best Fry Sauce in the World”

    Fry sauce = ketchup?

(or “catsup” for the suave crowd)

Your crazy Fatty, that food looks excellent. They would slap you if you tried to put fry sauce on it.

I sure hope that’s the appetizer and not dinner…unless there are six more just like that one waiting for you.
Hope you’re enjoying your trip out here

I believe that is a spinach timbale under a seared scallop. You’ve obviously have a shrimp or prawn resting on the side there and perhaps a black trumpet mushroom annexed from the rest. It seems to be a confusing dish – definitely large for an appetizer – we don’t eat like this is my country.

If we ate portions like this in my country, we wouldn’t be so fat. (Live from U.S.A.)

Sheesh, frou-frou food? Be glad you’re a yokel.

I can overnight you a bottle of fry sauce. Arctic Circle or Purple Turtle? (FYI, these are local drive-ins Fatty knows.)

A shrimp, a scallop and some sort vegetable/herbal spread

You know it’s fancy when it is littered with vegetable conffetti.

As jonw9 said, Fry Sauce is basically a 1:2 ratio of Ketchup and Mayo, mixed together, although it can have some “fancier” variations as well:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fry_sauce

Most anyone from Utah/Idaho was born and raised with it. All I’ll say is don’t knock it until you try it, way better than ketchup for fries. :)

Fry sauce might have been created directly by the hand of God! The local restaurant that had genuine UT fry sauce closed, sadly now I have to make it myself… But it’s not as good.
