The Team Fatty Team Champion / Messenger Awards
Psst. It’s me. Fatty. I’m being held prisoner in a conference room in downtown Chicago. I’ve been told that I can’t leave until I synergize at a 30% more synergistic level.
Oh, and also they’re making me wear Dockers. I honestly don’t know how much longer I’m going to be able to survive.
I’ve ducked into a bathroom to quickly write a blog post. Specifically, I wanted to show off the cool video about Team Fatty that was shown at the LiveStrong Challenge / Ride for the Roses in Austin last weekend.
How awesome is that? Very awesome indeed, that’s how awesome.
I’ll post more the next time I can sneak into a bathroom. Or closet. Or under a table.

During the dinner they gave us Livestrong books to share with people. I am heading over right now to give one to a very close relative after just receiving an awful awful call.
I HATE CANCER. HATE IT.

Congrats! Team Fatty! Fatty thank you for the chance to fight cancer with such a great team of people. I can’t wait to see what we accomplish next year. What a great group of positive friends that I have never met.

Amazing, indeed! Thanks Elden, and all of the members of Team Fatty – what a tribute to all you do, and to all you – WE – fight for. One day, we’re going to have a big party …. one day.

And now, for something completely different, here is something Fattys can snicker about. some food-related humor.

“I’ve been told that I can’t leave until I synergize at a 30% more synergistic level.”
Is that like the ‘Planning to Plan’ whiteboard in Office Space?
Comment by roan | 10.27.2010 | 11:15 am
Great video ! Show the video to board members at a meeting…then ask for a raise…what could they say ? If they have the nerve to say …”no”… then just look at them and say “huh ?…not sure I heard you correctly, maybe we better watch the video again…boneheads”.
Comment by Barbara | 10.27.2010 | 11:27 am
Great video – I cried when I saw the picture of Susan and the baby twins and by the end, I was really glad I’m sitting in an office alone.
You rock, Fatty, even in Dockers. Synergize away!
Comment by Squirrelhead | 10.27.2010 | 11:36 am
Fatty, just wear your cycling shorts under your dockers. That will make you feel more comfortable thus allowing you to accomplish your needed 30% increase in synergistic levels.

I had a meeting with one of your co-workers today and he mentioned that you might be posting to the blog from the meeting. I think your post was a much better time investment than talking about email.

Nicely done.
As someone above mentioned – I can’t wait for that party of all parties one day! How great will that be?
@Philly Jen… how did you make that cool heart?
Comment by Geo | 10.27.2010 | 3:50 pm
You need to be careful. You may need some embrocation if you are going to synergize in Dockers.
Nice video. And again, a heck of an impressive list of names.

I have to admit, that video touched my so much that I actually cried. The work that you and Team Fatty have done over the last few years is amazing. I will always remember Susan as I think of my own Mother. Congratulations.
Comment by AK_Chick | 10.27.2010 | 10:07 pm
Hey Fatty,
They did an awesome job! Wish I could have been there. I hope to be there next year! I got my Twin Six gear today. I was doubtful about the bibs, but I think I really like them. It’s almost like I’m not wearing anything at all. The sweatshirt was a lot smaller than I expected and I got an XL! It’s form fitting and my hubby says it looks cute (I usually wear a medium or a large in ladies cause I’m pretty chesty). Glad I went with an XL. Everything else fits and love that the jersey unzips all the way down. Okay, enough about my cool new kit!
Thanks for taking the time from your mind-numbing, will sucking, Docker wearing, synergistic synergy creating conference to post the video. Can’t wait til you can share more info! :)
FLS!!!Win!

My first ever set of Fatty kit arrived today! UPS all the way to Perth, Western Australia! I thought it might have had a stop over somewhere because it i a long flight and the time difference and duty free shopping, but nooooo – it is Fatty tough and it is here.
