New FattyCast: Reba Rusch (aka The Queen of Pain) – Cyclist, Adventurer, Firefighter, Author
Reba Rusch is known as the Queen of Pain, but she’s a lot more than someone who just suffers well. She’s a firefighter, she’s an adventurer, she’s a racer, she’s an author, she’s a fundraiser, she’s a race promoter, and she’s an advocate for change.
In this new FattyCast, Reba and I talk about all of this, as well as have an argument about pie.

Big thanks to Reba for taking the time to talk with me!

Hey Fatty. I have loved all the Fattycasts so far and look forward to this one as well. I had an idea of a topic for you :-). I know you have written about the LT100 extensively but it might make for a great episode to talk about how a new entrant can best prep. So after an seven years my lottery number finally came up and I am in this year. I am an interesting case, 48 in June, and I am truly a Outlier Clyde at 6′7 and currently weighing well above 300lbs all of which will make for an interesting journey to me being ready by August. Let me know if you would be interested in the rest of my story and sharing your experience.

GT, good luck at Leadville!! Clydesdales rule on the downhill parts. :-)

Almost entirely off topic, but I have a request for Elden: can you make separate RSS streams available for text and podcast? I have the podcasts feeding into Overcast which works well, but every time a new episode goes up my poor old kindle tries to download it too.
Looking forward to listening to this episode later tonight, always interesting to here from Reba!

Great conversation, and I’m (maybe a shade excessively) stoked that you used my pie question! I’m a savory soul myself and might be able to say that quiche is my favorite kind of pie.
